motorcycletoursunlimited

I feel so lucky to have found my passion, riding. There is nothing better than getting on my bike, driving to undiscovered places, and realizing that the road that I had just ridden was better than the one before. I started motorcycletoursunlimited so that I can share my passion with you. I can also share with you those great riding roads I already know and some new ones that we can experience together.

Like many women, my passion for motorcycling started 15 years ago as a passenger. I quickly realized I wanted to enjoy riding my own bike. As my motorcycle trips became longer, I realized that this was the best way to travel and experience the sites. So far, I have experienced 43 of the 50 states on my bike.

Activities as an organizer, tour member, and participant have encouraged me to begin motorcycletoursunlimited and share my riding experiences with others. In 2001, I founded a fund raising ride called Women in Motion. With Women in Motion, I not only wanted to raise money for non-profit organizations, I wanted to encourage women to become involved in motorcycling. In 2003, I moved to Dubuque, Iowa and worked at Wilwert's Harley-Davidson, Suzuki, KTM, and Buell as an event coordinator. I soon realized that Iowa and Wisconsin have some of the best riding I have ever seen. In 2005, I returned to my hometown of Wausau, Wisconsin. During that summer I led bike trips in those amazing northern Wisconsin roads. In addition, I was a member of a group which rode to Colorado, and I found that having a trip planned for me was a great experience. Making sure that my bags were packed each morning was my only responsibility. Because of these varied biking experiences, I thought of motorcycletoursunlimited.

Men and women regardless of experience and make or model of bike are welcome to join these tours. I can't wait to ride with you and show you the most beautiful roads in Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, and Iowa.

Come and enjoy…a view from two wheels
