motorcycletoursunlimited will make you feel as though
you are a part of the Mississippi River and the rustic roads on an absolutely breathtaking adventure.
Friday morning we will leave Hudson, Wisconsin and start riding down the Great River Road, the closest road to the Mississippi River in Wisconsin. The scenery is picture perfect! As we approach Trempealeau you will soon realize why we stopped there for lunch.
The Mississippi river will tranquilize you and the smell of the food will leave your month watering. We will travel though Prairie du Chein, Wisconsin. Prairie du Chien is the second oldest city in Wisconsin, located at the foot of the Mississippi River bluffs. |
 |
After we cross the river into Iowa, we will stop at Pike Peak Park, in McGregor Iowa. Pike Peak is high in the bluffs looking down where the Wisconsin River joins with the Mississippi River and is truly breathtaking. You will want to make sure to have your camera ready for this stop!
As we continue to ride our way through the bluffs in Iowa, we will go through Balltown. As we look down from the scenic overview, the farms look so small it is difficult to believe they are real. This is as close to heaven as you will ever feel on Earth!
Friday night will be spent in Dubuque Iowa, where there is always something to do.
On Saturday we will leave Iowa and start heading Northeast into Wisconsin.
The southwest part of Wisconsin has great valleys and hills. This part of Wisconsin is so fun to ride with all the winding road. You will be amazed with all the great scenery. We will spend the night in Hillsboro, Wisconsin.
|
On Sunday we will leave Hillsboro, we will ride over to Rockton. Before we reach Rockton Wisconsin, you will know why we stopped here; it has the best open pit grilled chicken
dinners you have ever tasted, and we will smell the grills from miles away.
What a treat!
You will never forget this ride with the Mississippi River and the scenic views of southwest Wisconsin. |
